The project: “BeVisible:in:Pankow – (Selbst-)Empowerment durch Wissen und Vernetzung der Community mit strategischen Akteuren in und für Pankow”is a follow-up project to the BeVisible training programme that aims to use community resources as experts within the Pankow community and with project-related strategic actors in Pankow using the peer-to-peer approach.
The planned activities (seminars, workshops, events) will take place from Mai to November 2024, in project-related locations in Pankow and will be organised by and with alumn*ae of the BeVisible training courses of recent years
The topics are:
– Building strategies against racism and discrimination in everyday life, especially in the areas of finding accommodation and healthcare
– trauma work and stress awareness programmes;
– Establishing saver spaces in the accommodation centres and
– The situation of LGBTIQA+ refugees in Pankow and the challenges they face
The project is funded by the Pankow District Office, Integration Office, from the Gesamtkonzept zur Integration und Partizipation Geflüchteter for local migration work.
