We are happy to introduce our latest project: “Audible Beyond Borders” with Aeham Ahmad.

This three-day musical workshop for Arabic-speaking refugee girls* and women* aims to empower and connect people through music. Aeham Ahmad, a Syrian-Palestinian pianist, singer, and music teacher, will lead the workshops. Together with the participating women*, he will practice and sing songs from his homeland. The workshop will end with a presentation for a mixed audience of neighbours, friends, and family in the Frei-Zeit-Haus Weißensee. 

The workshops will take place on Monday 19.12.2016 from 15.00-19.00 and Tuesday 20.12.2016 from 15.00-19.00 in the auditorium of KuBiZ Raoul Wallenberg- Bernkasteler Str. 78, 13088 Berlin.

There will also be a workshop held on Wednesday 21.12.2016  from 15.00- 19.00 (preparation beginning at 15.00; presentation at 17.00) in Frei-Zeit-Haus Weißensee  – Pistoriusstraße 23, 13086 Berlin ->
